One Taste of Tantra (Namkhai Norbu)

While Hinayana and Mahayana regard the absolute voidness as the object of realization to be attained by freeing oneself from bonds of impure relative dimension, the Tantras begin with the awareness of the voidness of all phenomena, and aim at re-integrating with the relative – working with the method of transformation. The relative is not renounced or rejected but used as the means of transformation itself, until dualism is overcome, and all phenomena can be said to be of “one taste,” pure from the beginning.
